Awwwwwwww, don't be so negative. I usually think these challenges are awful as well, but they do force you out of your comfort zone - which, as a writer, is always a good thing. Like the realism challenge, hmm? Usually if you hate something, you can try to subvert it one way or another, 'make it yours' so to speak. Now I don't know the exact wording of the challenge yet, but there's a million ways to collaborate, and not all of them require you to sit down together and work on something together.
