FFM27: Glittering in the Void
Deviation Actions
Literature Text
Raya hates the stars.
The white hot glitter against the void makes her ache for home. She would fight a thousand wars if it meant never again sleeping crammed together, two by two, like dolls in a metal coffin.
But home is dead. Ship is what remains.
Until Marauders come again.
Raya fights.
Ship screams.

challenge is a 55 word story, no dialogue, and speculative fiction.
I like this challenge too. Perfect mix of requirements. Not too much, not too little. Just open enough to allow for creativity.

FFM Links - 27 July 2016
Welcome to Flash Fiction Month, day 27.
We're keeping it short and sweet today. Are you ready for another CHALLENGE?
Instructions
Flash Fiction Month is about writing – and posting – a story of between 55 and 1000 words in length every day for the month of July. We’ll make it easy by posting optional prompts and themes every day. We’ll make it fun by cheering each other on. We’ll make it ridiculously hard by posting challenges for you to attempt every couple of days.
Every day, there will be a new deviation where you can post a link to your piece of flash fiction for the day.
Paste a link to your flash fiction piece for July 27 in the comments below.
If you write a piece every day and complete every challenge, you might be eligible to win something, and you'll certainly get a whiter smile, be invited to more parties and improve your manly/womanly vigour.
