1.
Sir Reginald almost felt sorry for the warlock. His ragged clothes and scarred face were proof of a life of hardship in the Hollows. Whatever turned him to the forbidden arts had cost him his life.

"My family," the warlock said.

The man he'd killed, a known murderer, lay in pool of filth. If he'd used a sword instead of magic, Sir Reginald could have spared him.

2.
First an apple and then a loaf of bread. Talis hid both under his thread-bare tunic as he slipped out of the kitchen and into the courtyard. For all their talk of forgiveness, the Templars would have lopped off both his hands if they caught him.

His stomach growled. Sanda wasn't old enough to steal, Mum was a mess, and Father was god knows where.

Talis hated him sometimes.

3.
When he pushed her up against the wall she let him. It was a Templar's right, and this one was no stranger to the Hollows.

Out of his armor, he was pitifully exposed. He didn't feel the knife until it was too late.

"For my husband, you bastard, and my sons!"

She left Sir Reginald in a pool of his own filth. Talis and Sanda would be waiting.
Ok. So I used some elements of High Fantasy. I used the themes morality and vigilantism or tried to. My word counter claims each part is 69 words. And one of my characters is a literal knight templar. Probably screwed it up somehow though, but oh well, I tried.
