It was the find of the century. It was bigger than the time Ch'Xwt found the Relen Microlith on Hesel-7B, bigger than the time the interns knocked over a section of miniature Delwen Runewards and rediscovered the meaning of life. It was the find of the century and it was mine.
They were perfectly preserved under a fine layer of nuclear ash. I pulled the first pair of ceremonial Earth pantaloons into the sunlight. They were faded and stained, but they were intact. The primitive cloth was made of some kind of plant or animal fiber.
